However, some users who had used Corona iOS 5.0.1 untether to convert their tethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak to untethered jailbreak or used Redsn0w to perform the untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak had reported issues with somejailbreak apps.
Jay Freeman a.k.a saurik - co-founder and developer has tweeted that the Corona iOS 5.0.1 was causing issues with 'launchctl' and released a new version of Corona iOS 5.0.1 to fix the issue.
Corona (5.0.1 untether) apparently breaks `launchctl`; @planetbeing figured out what caused it, and I patched the package: upgrade to 1.0-2.
The launchctl issue also affects you if you used redsn0w to install the 5.0.1 untether. I have built 1.0-3, which can upgrade redsn0w users.
Intelliborn - developers of jailbreak apps such as IntelliScreen have also confirmed that the latest version of Corona iOS 5.0.1 Untether fixes the launchctl issue.
Corona 1.0-3 (untether for iOS 5.0.1) fixes launchctl which was preventing our apps authenticating. If you are on 5.0.1, please install.
So if you're facing issues after installing Corona jailbreak or used Redsn0w to perform untethered jailbreak, please install the latest version of Corona iOS 5.0.1 Untether v1.0-3 via the updates tab in Cydia.
